    Content and Social Media Specialist

    Department: Marketing
    Area: Digital
    Reports to: Marketing and Communications Manager
    Supervises: No personnel under supervision
    Location: On-site
    Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.


    Position Objective:

    Create creative and dynamic content aligned with the brand strategy, ensure the planning and scheduling of social media posts, prepare performance reports, participate in content productions, conduct digital coverage, and act as the Brand Host when required.


    Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Develop original content for social media and digital platforms, ensuring quality and alignment with brand identity.

    • Plan and schedule social media posts based on the editorial calendar.

    • Monitor and manage interactions on social media (comments, direct messages, and shares) following brand guidelines.

    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on social media performance, competitors, and digital campaigns.

    • Actively participate in content production (photography, video, live streaming).

    • Support digital coverage of company events and activities.

    • Act as Brand Host, generating first-person content to connect with the audience.

    • Coordinate with the design and audiovisual production team for the creation of graphic and multimedia materials.

    • Stay up to date with digital trends and opportunities for innovative content.

    • Ensure compliance with the company’s established digital marketing strategies.


    Decision-Making:

    • Decide on the posting and reposting of stories, comments, and messages according to brand guidelines.

    • Propose and execute digital content initiatives based on trends and performance analysis.


    Job Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related fields.

    • Experience: 3 to 5 years in similar positions.

    • Technical Skills: Experience with ERP systems and digital tools for social media planning and management.

    • Soft Skills: Leadership, effective communication, teamwork, creativity, and a proactive attitude.

    • Languages: English is a plus.


    Working Conditions:

    • On-site work at company offices.

    • Location: Managua

    • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
